The subject is Bonfire Night.

It had once again become November. The desolate streets of London filled with the promise of terracotta leaves which often in this month whispered, fluttered and welcomed the eclipse of the foreign moon. Edward  leaned forward, squinting one curious to seek through the hole of the microscope. The tabloids spoke of a new found bacteria. It had been recovered  from the Opuntia plant specie ,Edward recognised its lustre. The plant was innocuous, he confirmed to himself, whilst he let a drip of peroxide disturb its nature. Edward in awe watched the elements dance, change and sway in response….. The night jingled the start of the Bonfire, burning away any last regrets as Edward felt the need to watch them through his patterned window….Not noticing that in the Petri dish, the bacteria was rapidly changing…. Soon enough as a green sparkle of twinkling rupture encased Edward, he began to hyperventilate, coughing violently as a putrid gas came alive.
